The United States - India Business Council (USIBC) has welcomed the announcement of the state visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeing it as an opportunity to elevate bilateral relations in economic and strategic partnership.The Indian PM will visit the US on June 22, 2023, following an invitation from President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden.

Commenting on the visit, the senior vice president for South Asia and president of the U.S.-India Business Council at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Ambassador Atul Keshap said, "The U.S. Chamber of Commerce's U.S.-India Business Council is delighted that Prime Minister Modi will be visiting Washington D.C. on June 22, a trip coming at a time of immense importance and opportunity in the bilateral relationship.”
