US trade official visiting India to boost commercial ties

Lago will meet with business leaders to advance the U.S.-India trade partnership in diverse sectors

The US Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade, Marisa Lago will travel to India from May 31 to June 2 to advance commercial and strategic partnerships between the two nations.

During her visit, Lago will meet with private sector representatives in both Bengaluru and Chennai according to the official release. As per the released schedule for India, she will also meet with U.S. and Indian semiconductor and related companies to advance the U.S.-India Memorandum of Understanding establishing a semiconductor supply chain and innovation partnership.
