Naidu inaugurated the TANA annual Maha Sabhas at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia and addressed the Telugu Diaspora

Former Vice President of India, Venkaiah Naidu lauded the Indian American community for bringing glory to their motherland and contributing to the growth story of the US at an event organized by the Indian community organisations in Washington DC on July 11.

Speaking at the event Naidu said, “The Indian diaspora has contributed richly to the growth story of the US. The India- US relationship is one of partnership, cooperation and trust in diverse areas, deepened by the values we share.”

“To me, as also to our countrymen, it is a moment of great pride to witness the success and accomplishments of our fellow countrymen and women who have excelled in various fields. Your collective contribution has not only brought glory to our motherland but has also strengthened Indo-US relations in a big way,” he added.

In the United States, the former VP also participated in the 23rd Congress of the Telugu Association of North America (TANA).  He inaugurated the TANA annual Maha Sabhas at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia and addressed the Telugu Diaspora.
