SNT Biotech named one of Chicago’s fastest-growing companies

Daftari started her business venture with $3000 and grew it into a multi-million-dollar company within a decade

SNT Biotech, founded by Indian American businesswoman Shital Daftari, was recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies in Chicago by Crain's Chicago Business. The company was ranked 21 on the 2023 edition of Crain’s Fast 50.

Established in 2020 by Daftari, SNT Biotech, is an Illinois-based distributor of cutting-edge medical and laboratory supplies. It has constantly been expanding its presence in the US healthcare sector, and was also included in the 50 Fastest Growing Women-Led/Owned Companies by the Women Presidents Organization for the third consecutive year.

Commenting on the achievement,chief executive officer Daftari, said, "This latest recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our amazing team and to our customers who've made our continued growth possible."

A recipient of multiple awards and honours, Daftari was named an Ernst & Young LLP Entrepreneur of The Year in 2022. She is a member of C200 and serves on the advisory board of Women’s Business Collaborative and Enterprising Women. Additionally, she is the co-founder of Women’s Empowerment Campaign, a networking and empowerment platform for South Asian Women.

Daftari started her business venture with $3000 and grew it into a multi-million-dollar company within a decade, her profile states.  Her first venture was ‘Saris and Things’ which was founded in 2011 as an online platform to rent or buy designer Indian clothing for weddings and special events.
