Adipurush writer apologizes for hurting people's sentiments

Muntashir took to Twitter, "I accept people's emotions have been hurt by Adipurush."

The writer of Indian mythological film Adipurush Manoj Muntashir has apologized for hurting the religious sentiments of the public with the controversial dialogues in the movie. The film, directed by Om Raut, is an adaptation of the Epic Ramayana and has drawn criticism from the audience ever since its release.

In a tweet Muntashir said, "I accept people's emotions have been hurt by Adipurush. With folded hands, I extend my unconditional apologies. May Prabhu Bajrang Bali keep us united and grant us strength to serve our sacred Sanatan and our great nation."
