Animal, an action-thriller featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Triptii Dimri, and Rashmika Mandanna, will release on December 1. The film, by director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, was initially set to release in August but was pushed to a further date.

Announcing the new date on Twitter, director Vanga said that ‘the quality’ was the reason for pushing the release from August 11 to December 1. While thanking everyone for the pre-teaser response, he explained that the film has seven songs which have to be released in five languages and the delay was because he wanted to achieve the ‘lyrical value’ of every song and do justice to it in their respective languages.  

"‌For that, I really need to spend energy, time to get into all different languages. When it gets released in all different languages, I don't want to give the feeling that it's a Hindi-dubbed Tamil film, Hindi-dubbed Telugu film. It has to be like the regional cinema," he said assuring the fans they would witness the “best quality in terms of the video and audio.”
