The Indian team consisted of Joshna Chinappa and Saurav Ghosal, alongside Tanvi Khanna and Abhay Singh.

India's 2023 Squash World Cup run came to an end after they lost to Malaysia 3-0  in the semi-finals held at Express Avenue Mall, Chennai. The 2011 champions, Egypt, who are the reigning champions, will play Malaysia in the championship game on Sunday.

During the tournament, eight teams fought for the championship: the host nation India, Australia, Colombia, Egypt, Hong Kong China, Japan, Malaysia, and South Africa.

Asian Games medallists Joshna Chinappa and Saurav Ghosal, alongside Tanvi Khanna and Abhay Singh, made up the Indian team for the Squash World Cup 2023. They defeated Hong Kong, South Africa, and Japan to win their group and enter the semifinals.

India has never taken home the Squash World Cup trophy. The first edition was won by Australia in 1996, while the second, in 1999, was won by England.
