The Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship (ABVSME) at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) with the support of the United States Embassy in New Delhi, recently hosted a seminar on “Innovation and Intellectual Property (IP).” 

The US Embassy served as the Knowledge Partner of the seminar, contributing invaluable expertise and support. The seminar aimed to deepen participants’ understanding of intellectual property (IP) and its significance in driving innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic growth. Distinguished experts from both India and the US delivered valuable talks, sharing their perspectives on the subject matter, read a JNU news release.

During the interactive question and answer sessions, participants had the exclusive opportunity to gain insights from eminent experts and engage in fruitful discussions as the seminar offered a transformative learning experience. The seminar was open to students, researchers, entrepreneurs, and anyone interested in understanding the pivotal role of Intellectual Property in the world of innovation and entrepreneurship, the release mentioned.

Some eminent personalities were present at the seminar – Professor Ravi K Dhar, Director JIMS VK-1, New Delhi, and Professor TV Vijay, dean, SC&SS, JNU were the guests of honour, while Prof Ram Nath Jha, director, UGC-HRDC, JNU, was the chief guest. The event was presided over by Professor Sapna Ratan Shah, director of R and D, JNU.
