Sikh organization supports ‘Adopt Unity, Not Uniformity’ project

The project will work towards creating a culture that promotes collaboration and inclusivity and recognizes the value of diversity.

US-based Sikh organization, The Dam Dami Taksal, has expressed support for Satpreet Singh's “Adopt Unity, Not Uniformity” project that seeks to promote unity between different communities.

Started by Satpreet Singh,the director and CEO of the Sikh Reference Library USA, the project will promote diversity and inclusion and educate people on the meaning and importance of unity and its advantages. According to a press statement, Dam Dami Taksal Singhs gathered at the to show their support for the project.

The release stated that Taksal will support the project as, “it is a testament to Taksal's commitment to promoting understanding and cooperation between different communities.”

Emphasizing the importance of the project Satpreet Singh said, "Unity brings us together and brings peace of mind by keeping our values and dignity while respecting others.” The project will work towards creating a culture that promotes collaboration and inclusivity and recognizes the value of diversity.

Meanwhile, Sakattar Singh, a religious poet, sang a poem by Baldev Singh Ji Banka detailing the meaning of unity. The poem revealed how unity can bring peace and harmony to the world.
