Shah Rukh Khan’s home production house, Red Chillies Entertainment, released the preview of their upcoming movie Jawan on July 10, 2023. Running just over two minutes, the teaser has set high expectations amongst SRK fans who believe that Jawan, by all measures, will exceed his previous release Pathaan.

The teaser does not give out much but moviegoers are about to experience some deja-vu as a lot of elements in it are reminiscent of Pathaan. However, one particular dialogue when SRK says, "Jab mai villain banta hoon na toh mere saamne koi bhi hero tik nahi sakta" (when I decide to become the villain, no hero stands a chance at winning) managed to capture the attention of all viewers.

The dialogue subtly suggests that the actor will play the antagonist in the film. Despite his reputation as the King of Romance, SRK has portrayed villains in films like Baazigar, Anjaam, Don, Don 2, and Raees. His foray into the dark side has often left audiences spellbound.
