The Indian American Association of Houston has organized a musical event to celebrate legendary musician A.R Rahman, who has completed three decades of his musical career this year.

Called Dil Se –Rubaroo with A.R. Rahman, the event, is scheduled to take place on Friday, June 2, 2023, at the Stafford Center Performing Arts Theater and Convention Center, Houston.

Known for his evergreen songs such as Haye Rama, Yeh Haseen Vaadiyaan, Tu Hi Re, etc, the musician continues to remain one of the most revered hitmakers in the industry to date. His unmatched genius and  extensive body of work for film and stage productions have earned him the names, Mozart of Madras, and Isai Puyal which roughly translates to a musical cyclone.

“Dil Se... Rubaroo with A.R. Rahman narrates a story of the musician and a generation that thrived on his music, experiencing varied transitions in the areas of music, technology, globalization, films, and human lives. Dil Se..is an audiovisual infotainment program in Hindi with a confluence of Music, Drama, Dance, and AVs. It holds a promise to take you through the maestro's treasures, his prized possessions, and bringing back precious memories!” the event’s description reads.

Dil Se... Rubaroo with A.R.Rahman completed 15 shows in the U.S., before the upcoming June 2 show, and will tour Tulsa and Dallas on June 3 and 4 respectively.
